Shelley Chintz Tea Pot and Lidded Water Jug c 1930 *

This is a delightful 1 ½ pint teapot and water jug made by Shelley in the pretty chintz Maytime pattern. The teapot and water jug are decorated with colourful tree blossoms and are trimmed in a bright green and have bright green handles. The teapot measures about 7 inches (17 3/4 cms) tall including the finial and 8 inches (20 cms) from the handle to the spout. The jug measures about 7 ½ inches (19 cms) tall including the finial and 6 inches (15 ¼ cms) from the handle to the spout. The back stamps dates them to 1925-1945. The teapot and jug are in excellent condition with no damage or visible crazing.
